​APPLICATION CRITERIA

TAP works with small businesses, entrepreneurs, and municipalities to accelerate growth and help local economies thrive. We focus on high potential small businesses, particularly those owned by women and People of Color. TAP provides high caliber advice at an accessible price to hundreds of businesses across the country. These efforts have resulted in increased sales, improved margins and operations, and stronger financial management.

Our consultants provide strategic advice and customized tools to drive your business forward. Our expertise cuts across multiple business functions, including strategic planning, marketing, financial management and operations. 

Clients we serve typically meet several of the following criteria:
  • Are at critical junctures in their business lifecycles when strategic advice can significantly impact future success
  • Exhibit the motivation and skills necessary to withstand economic challenges
  • Demonstrate financial need for affordable services, but have the ability to pay a nominal program fee
  • Have been generating revenues for at least 12 months
