Sebastian is an Analyst at Astr Partners, where he supports public and private biotech companies through strategic corporate development, capital advisory, and investor engagement. Prior to joining Astr Partners, he served as a Research Data Associate at NYU Langone, where he studied the pulmonary microbiome with a focus on sarcoidosis.
Sebastian is a co-founder of Young People in Biotech (YPB), a growing community for early-career professionals across the life sciences, including biotech, pharma, medtech, and healthcare. YPB creates opportunities for meaningful in-person connection, collaboration, and career-building through curated networking events and industry meetups in major biotech hubs.
Sebastian earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Tissue, Cellular, and Molecular Engineering from the University of Chicago. In his free time, he enjoys reading science fiction, mountain biking, and experimenting in the kitchen.
