ALEXIS ROSENBLUM
Alexis Rosenblum, CFA is Capital Group’s Global Head of Sustainability and Social Responsibility, responsible for overseeing the company's operational sustainability and philanthropic programs.
Prior to joining Capital Group, Ms. Rosenblum spent twelve years at BlackRock. Most recently, she served as BlackRock’s first Chief Corporate Sustainability Officer. In this role, Ms. Rosenblum was responsible for overseeing BlackRock’s corporate sustainability strategy, ESG and climate disclosures, ESG-linked corporate finance activities, environmental stewardship, and vendor sustainability programs. Under Ms. Rosenblum’s leadership, BlackRock issued its first reports aligned to the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Recommendations, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Standards, and the UN Global Compact Ten Principles.
Prior to her role as Chief Corporate Sustainability Officer, Ms. Rosenblum was a senior member of BlackRock’s Global Public Policy Group where she engaged with regulators and legislators in the US and globally. During this time, Ms. Rosenblum was a regular author of white papers and comment letters as well as a speaker on a range of topics including SEC regulations, market structure, liquidity risk management, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), LIBOR, and corporate governance. Previously, Ms. Rosenblum was a relationship manager for BlackRock’s Global Consultant Relations team, where she was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with US institutional investment consultants.
