ALICE NELSON-SIDIBE
Alice’s passion is helping people and organizations understand their capabilities and consider what’s next while continually improving what they do now. Whether during her time as a human resources or, training and development professional, or people leader, she seeks to stay true to her core mission. This mindset has helped her grow her career and get the most intrinsic value and help her teams and organizations obtain the best extrinsic results.
To support her passion, Alice’s educational background includes a BA and MBA in Organizational Psychology and Development, an MS in Training and Performance Improvement, and a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Organizational Development. Her educational background helped her in designing and developing innovative curriculum and programs, engaging in projects from product development, customer onboarding, DE&I, establishing her family’s small businesses, and in all of these pursuits, finding and making the most of opportunities for continuous improvement.
Her prior volunteer experience with the WICT Network of Greater Philadelphia and other organizations, as well as completing the DiverseForce on Boards program to prepare her to increase her influence on other non-profit boards and countless projects within Comcast, helped her to develop a professional presence, authentic voice and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Alice’s career started as an executive assistant to top executives for some of the larger Philadelphia employers, then grew into professional human resources roles and training and development, managing a team of product training professionals and focusing any spare time on building more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces. All these experiences led to her current role leading the integration of DE&I for Comcast’s Talent and Learning organization. Alice credits her current role to the opportunities she has had to gain education, experience, and exposure to other professionals and cultures.
“I feel fortunate to be able to combine my passion, education, and experiences over the years to make a difference in the lives and teams that I have been fortunate enough to be a part of and lead.”
