She will be responsible for participating in staffing decisions on projects, requiring deep familiarity with skills possessed by team members, and will also use this knowledge to draw on specific team expertise to bolster the quality of our services.
In addition, the Director will suggest new products to meet identified partner and client needs and aid in their development and implementation; suggest new tools and aid in their development and implementation; identify where training is necessary and participate in training development and delivery; improve the use of Salesforce to manage TAP processes and access data; provide regular updates to management team; and translate results into TAP KPIs and metrics to be used for marketing and other purposes.
Community Outreach
The Director will play a key role in TAP’s continuous goal of having an impact in underserved communities. She is responsible for increasing TAP’s client and partner pipeline in these communities. The Director will create a strategy for penetrating these underserved markets; will identify, research, and recommend potential partnerships; will create pathways to initiate and build these relationships; and will secure TAP engagements. Simultaneously, she will identify and recommend new services for TAP to develop to meet the needs of these business owners. The Director will also identify and train the TAP team on cultural competencies that will benefit these partnerships and clients.

- Project Oversight
- Scope client projects, including diagnosis of specific needs and delineation of TAP deliverables to meet these needs.
- Participate in staffing decisions; recommend appropriate consultants for client assignments and recruit for assignments
- Create and implement structure for consultants to successfully execute projects and suggest improvements to the process. Depending on project, may include the following:
- Initiate project folders on Google Drive, ensuring all necessary information is available to consultants and they are aware of resources available
- Ensure consultants adhere to TAP process, including proper use of documents and communication mechanisms
- Debrief regularly with consultants to ensure deliverables will be met; troubleshoot where necessary; provide guidance on best practices
- Check in with partners/clients at designated checkpoints to address issues in a timely manner and ensure satisfaction throughout engagements
- Leverage previous TAP work, share learnings across projects and use specific consultant expertise to enhance client work during SAPs
- Identify and organize opportunities to expand engagement with the larger TAP team as appropriate to leverage expertise available
- Update SalesForce daily to keep management team informed and track important information
- Identify gaps in Consultant Toolbox and update with new tools created by team or by self
- Distribute, collect and analyze client and consultant satisfaction surveys and provide post-project review

- Identify opportunities for improved/new training and participate in improvement/adjustment and delivery of training

TAP is seeking a Manager of Stewardship & Donor Relations who will join us at this exciting and pivotal time to help us generate the funding necessary to ensure the long-term sustainability of our organization.
Position Summary: The Manager of Stewardship & Donor Relations responsible for executing a strategic plan to engage, cultivate and steward TAP’s supporters at all levels: Board of Directors, President’s Council and individual donors. The goal of the Manager of Stewardship & Donor Relations is to inspire and delight supporters, volunteer leaders, and board members whose commitment and giving to TAP increases and deepens throughout their lifetimes. The Manager will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, leadership team and Development Consultants to enhance TAP’s supporters affiliation with the organization. Additionally, the Manager will help strategize how TAP can maximize the support of our donors at key events like TAP’s Spring Benefit and work closely with the Marketing department to develop captivating communications and touchpoints for donors. The Manager will also be responsible for staying apprised of Service Delivery projects in order to create meaningful stewardship opportunities.
The Manager will work collaboratively with the CEO and Leadership Team to evaluate TAP’s operational strategy and goals, adjusting stewardship initiatives as needed to support those goals. This paid position is full-time, primarily remote, with an expectation of 40 hours/week, with day-to-day flexibility. This individual will also be asked to attend in-person meetings in Westchester as well as in-person meetings with potential
funders.

Responsibilities:
- Develop donor strategy for all fundraising efforts including the annual appeal campaign, the annual benefit, our 10th year anniversary initiatives and other related events and leverage team for execution.
- Execute strategic stewardship plans to meet short and long term fundraising goals; individualizing plans for donors based on personas.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop collateral on TAP’s impact and stories, targeted donor communications and stewardship materials for all donors.
- Steward and support the Board of Directors and President’s Council members.
- Research prospective corporate, foundation, and individual donors.
- Partner with the CEO to develop and maintain relationships, assisting with communications and meeting preparation and follow up.
- Utilize Salesforce database for prospect management and reporting.
