Katie has 5+ years of experience in community development, land use planning and geographic information systems (GIS). With experience in both the public and private sector, Katie has prepared numerous plans, feasibility studies, and zoning amendments for communities throughout New York State. As a Planner with the City of White Plains she developed the methodology to equitably enforce building and property maintenance codes in LMI communities. Katie utilizes her advanced GIS skills to collect, analyze, and manage data to create thematic maps, web applications and informational dashboards for a variety of end users. A member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), she has a Master’s in Regional Planning and concentrations in environmental and land use planning. Katie also holds a Graduate Certificate in Urban Policy from the State University of New York at Albany.
