NATALIA ALARCON
CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Natalia’s professional journey encompasses diverse roles across finance, communications, and strategic consulting. She began her career as a Financial Analyst at Panamco Indega, Coca-Cola’s bottler in Colombia, and then transitioned to strategic consulting at Arthur D. Little, where she advised clients in media and consumer goods. Following this, she served as a Crisis Management and Communications Advisor at Weber Shandwick, Co-Director of the NY Chapter of Conexión Colombia, and Director of Investor Relations for Palmfund Management, a private equity firm with a focus on Latin America. Since 2019, Natalia has been an integral part of The Acceleration Project, starting as a volunteer consultant.
As an entrepreneur, Natalia led strategy, finance, and customer relations in her own renovation and interior design business, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges and needs of small businesses.
Natalia earned her BA, summa cum laude, in Business Administration from Universidad de los Andes and a master’s degree in International Affairs with emphasis in Finance and Communications from Columbia University. She is fluent in English and French and is a native Spanish speaker.
Her commitment to community service is evident in her leadership roles, including serving as President of the Colegio Nueva Granada Parents’ Council, where she worked on school development and improvement initiatives. She also directed the Tennis and Aquatic Sports committees at a country club in Colombia and is a board member of the Legacy Volleyball Club in NYC. Natalia enjoys running, hiking, playing tennis, and skiing, and she is a passionate chef and a certified nutritional health coach.
