Latimer Launches Seven Citizen Task Forces
U.S. Representative George Latimer has launched seven citizen task forces to bring local expertise into federal policymaking. Jane Veron, co founder of The Acceleration Project, will chair the Jobs and Economy Task Force, which is the only committee expanded to nine members given the complexity of the work. The groups will develop recommendations through 2027 to help shape thoughtful, community informed policy. 12/05/2025.
