What happens when two mission-driven nonprofits join forces to support women with bold ideas and big dreams? You get more than partnership—you get progress.

That is exactly what unfolded when TAP and  Jeremiah Program (JP) came together. With JP’s deep-rooted commitment to breaking the cycle of poverty for single mothers, and TAP’s expertise in business consulting for under-resourced entrepreneurs, the collaboration was built on a shared belief. When mothers thrive, communities rise.

GUIDING MOMS FROM SPARK TO SUCCESS

What began as a spark of connection in 2024 blossomed into a powerful collaboration in 2025—centered around JP’s inspiring Spark Tank pitch competition, a signature event that showcases bold business ideas from JP moms and alumni nationwide.

This year, the partnership between TAP and JP brought a new dimension to Spark Tank. In addition to funding, winning mompreneurs received something just as critical: TAP’s expert financial guidance and hands-on support to help them turn their award into long-term business success.

TURNING THE SPOTLIGHT INTO STRATEGY

TAP consultants designed a customized financial workshop focused on helping the entrepreneurs build the financial foundation needed to maximize the impact of their Spark Tank winnings. The training covered:

  • Choosing the right business structure

  • Separating personal and business finances

  • Tracking income and expenses

  • Understanding key financial statements

  • Setting goals and planning for growth

But the support didn’t stop there. Each entrepreneur received three months of 1:1 consulting, ensuring they could directly apply the concepts to their specific business needs and long-term goals.

MEET THE SPARK TANK STANDOUTS

The 2025 Spark Tank winners each bring passion, vision, and purpose to their work:

  • EmpowerHER (Fargo, ND): Supports pregnant women in recovery through housing, medical care, treatment services, and education—creating a safe path forward for mothers and their children.

  • MomsOnly Social Inc. (Boston, MA): Builds community and sisterhood through self care events that empower moms while connecting them with critical local resources.

  • Parental Inclusion Network(Las Vegas, NV): Provides education, training, and support for parents and caregivers of autistic and special needs individuals—offering tools to navigate challenges with confidence.

“We delivered an interactive experience and covered a lot of ground in a short time,” shared TAP consultant Nancy Spady. “The businesses were at different levels, which made it both challenging and deeply rewarding.”

BEYOND THE SPARK

This work matters because it doesn’t stop at the spark—it fuels the fire. JP moms already bring grit, creativity, and big vision. TAP’s role is to help channel that energy into strategy—giving each business the structure and support needed to grow with confidence.

When two mission-aligned organizations work in sync, the results go beyond any one competition. Together, TAP and JP created lasting pathways for entrepreneurial mothers to build stronger futures—for their businesses, their families, and their communities.
