In December 2025, Congressman George Latimer announced the formation of seven citizen task forces designed to bring community expertise directly into federal decision-making for New York's 16th Congressional District.

TAP CEO and Co-Founder Jane Veron was selected to chair the Task Force on Jobs and the Economy — a recognition of her expertise in small business growth, workforce development, and economic equity.

The seven citizen panels span key policy areas including jobs and the economy, housing, healthcare, education, environment, transportation, and public safety. Each panel is composed of local experts, business leaders, and community advocates who will provide Congressman Latimer with real-world insight to guide his legislative priorities and constituent services.
