Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, yet 49% fail within their first five years of operation, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Many do not fail from lack of effort or talent. They struggle because they do not have access to guidance, resources, or someone to walk beside them. That is where TAP makes a difference. With the right support, 93% of TAP clients are still in business one year later.
Because of the generosity of this community, TAP has provided since 2012 more than 64,100 hours of consulting and served over 10,600 business owners through customized engagements. 75% of those businesses are owned by under-resourced entrepreneurs, and 95% report stronger financial clarity, better operations, and renewed confidence. These are not just numbers. They are thousands of stories of perseverance and progress.
